This Weekend at Show & Tell

We are starting the month of August off right with 3 days of fashion, food, and fun at Show & Tell!

Friday August 3rd: First Friday Art Party featuring Caricature by Lena Gallagher from 6-9pm

It's that time of the month again when we celebrate awesome art in the great city of Oakland. Be sure to add Show & Tell to your Art Murmur Itinerary because you don't want to miss Caricature, a politically provocative and socially relevant mash up best described as cartooning meets fine art.

Saturday August 4th-Sunday August 5th: Art & Soul Festival

This year's festival will sizzle with two art- and music-packed days featuring live jazz, rock, gospel, E.D.M., punk, honky-tonk, metal, world, Latin, folk, R&B, and blues music performed by national recording artists and top local talent.

In addition, this wonderful festival will feature late-night hours on Saturday; epic scales of art installations, film projections, and light-based art from local artists including de Young Museum artist fellows and artist-in-residence alumni, American Steel, and others; hundreds of artisan booths; gourmet global cuisine and mobile food trucks; and for kids, carnival rides, music and art activities.

Sunday August 5th: Meet and Greet with Forrest Day  inside Show & Tell Concept Shop

The band Forrest Day will have an album listening party and meet and greet inside the store to end the two day Oakland Art & Soul Festival. Come enjoy some great music and memorable times while viewing some of the latest fashions for men and women. Light refreshments will be provided.
